Our little Ryan is four weeks old today. I'm a little sad to have him "growing up," but it is so fun to watch his sweet personality emerge. He is such a good baby, and loves to be snuggled (good thing, because we all love to snuggle him!) He's starting to get on somewhat of a schedule, but none of our kids have been very good sleepers, so I'm not expecting much sleep for the next several months! And, we are venturing into new territory...Ryan may be the first one of our babies to actually take a binkie. Which is WONDERFUL right now, but then again I've never had to
wean one of my kids from a binkie, so I don't know if I should push it. (Any thoughts?) He also seems to enjoy our morning and afternoon walks to school, which is good because we have nine months of them ahead of us! :)
These are a few more of the pictures Christie took. They are so sweet, I just can't stop looking at them! She captured this special time for our family perfectly. Do you think this little guy is loved? I think he's going to be spoiled like no other...

Such a sweet little boy. I have no opinion on the binky because I haven't had to wean Allie yet. Sometimes we can't find any and she goes days without one, so I don't think it will be that hard. She has such a hard time with sippy cups though, and is still using a bottle.
He is so darling, I can barely even stand it. He looks like Nathan, right? And Anna too?
I would definitely push the binky. At least for the first 3-4 months when the little ones just want to suck and you simply can't stop your household to let him use you as a pacifier. After that, maybe he will do fine without one. ? I have no idea, really, because none of my kids took one, but there were lots of times I wish L did when she was tiny. Now, she has found her hands to entertain her, but she only chews on them.
Oh I love the kissing pictures of Ryan with the kids, especially the one with his older brother Nathan. I can't believe he's already a month old. Ahh! Slow down time! He is so precious. I don't know what to say about the binky. None of my kids took that or the bottle...I say let him have it if he likes it and it keeps him calm.
I LOVE ALL OF THEM!
Push the binkie! It's a lifesaver for months and months and weaning only last a couple days.
Great pictures. He sure fits in with those other darling children you have :)
What AMAZING pictures! Looks like Ryan will be plenty of attention and love.
As for the binkie, I'm a big fan on them. Only my last baby would actually take one. We only use it for emergencies (church, etc...) and naps now. I also sell binkie catchers here: http://www.binkiebling.blogspot.com
They are a must for binkie babies:-)
Absolutely Precious!
